中国万里长城 Great Wall of China
The Great Wall of China is the longest man-made structure in the world, spanning a total collective length of 21,196 kilometers across 15 northern Chinese provinces. It was built over a span of more than 2,000 years to serve primarily as a massive military defense system. The Great Wall of China is not a single continuous wall, but rather a vast network of walls, trenches, watchtowers, and fortresses constructed by successive Chinese dynasties.
The Great Wall of China is found in 15 provinces across North China. Some sections have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
